works great. Noisy but efficient October 24, 2009 Terence Tan (Austin, Tx, United States) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Used this a couple times so far. It seems to do the job. It's fill rate is decent and the psi gauge is convenient. Recommended!
Works but is bare bones! February 15, 2010 V. Christy (Show Low AZ) It pumps real fine. It isn't one of those fancy ones that can hold a charge. But it works just fine and for the money it is a good buy.
Great for Bike tires March 7, 2010 Leslie L. Thomas (Hahira, GA) I use this in the tires on my bike and jogging stroller. It has worked great!
Decent value for the price September 10, 2009 drkkdrkk (Seattle, WA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
It's smaller, lighter, and relatively quieter than my previous el cheapo $19.95 compressor. Took a little less than a minute to add 5 psi to a 195-60R14 tire. The clamp/connector seems to be more sturdy than my other one.
What I didn't like: The rubber air hose feels fragile (not braided like others) so be careful if you wind it around the unit. No storage for the power cord (I just wrap it around the unit). Also, it didn't have a fuse built into the 12V power plug, so you do need to give it a rest every now and then for the big jobs. Other than that, it's a decent pump and it sure beats a trip to the gas station to pay two bits to use theirs.
Better Pressure Gauge October 7, 2009 Consumer 100 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have had several pressure pumps and all have worked well for several years. I assume that will be the case for this one. However, the gauges on the other units were very inaccurate. This unit seems to be much closer to the actual pressure that I measure with a proper gauge.
