The Yakima Hitchlock Locking Hitch Pin is very easy to use. It also gives us peace of mind know that our bike rack will still be on our car when we return from a ride.

This hitch lock is exactly what it claimed to be and it works perfectly. It is very simple to attach and protects the hitch pin from accidentally coming out or from potential theft. I have left it attached for weeks at a time and it wears very well. It comes with two keys. It is exactly what I wanted.

I bought this hitch lock for a 2002 yakima full swing bike carrrier that I purchased used. The lock traveled 4000 miles holding the carrier in place. It is easy to use except you can not fit the key hole cover on as it was too tight. That wasn't significant and didn't effect the locking mechanism. Overall good lock for this carrier. If you have questions about which lock will fit your carrier, call Yakima they had great customer support and told me exactly what to buy.

I purchased this item as part of a set when I also purchased a Yakima DoubleDown 2-Bike Hitch Mount Carrier. It's simple to use and locks onto the long hitch pin that attaches the carrier to your trailer hitch mount. Two keys are included and a dust cap on the lock itself prevents moisture and road debris from corroding the lock. Surprisingly easy to use. With the lock on the end of my hitch pin instead of a flimsy, more standardized locking clip, I can rest assured my bike rack is not going anywhere.
